About SpeechToSound

SpeechToSound is an application that converts text to sound files (in AIFF format) using Apple's Text to Speech technology.

When converted, spoken text is ready to be used on the web, written to an Audio CD, encoded in MP3 format, or modified in any way.

SpeechToSound only works with high-quality voices from Apple's Text-To-Speech (such as Agnes, Bruce, or Victoria for the english version).

This is the first version of SpeechToSound. I released it even though it still lacks some features because some people needed it. Depending on the feedback (and shareware registrations!) I receive, I will decide whether to keep developing it. Please send me your comments!
